The Healing Power of Prayer the power of Love

About Christa

Hi!  My friends call me Christa!

I grew up in a traditional denominational church. As a child I always had a love for God and desired to to do what was right though I was still an imperfect child. :) When I was 12 years old I started planning my wedding and had my dreams of a home filled with a loving husband and children. In high school I took a course in bridal consulting and planned out my wedding in detail. I also took a course on interior decorating where I designed the floor plan of a house and thoroughly decorated that house turning it into a warm and inviting home. This was my dream!

My home life had been challenging and because of the responsibilities I had been given I had been unable to devote myself to school studies. So I felt unable to pursue the career I had desired and settled for a minimum wage job after graduation from high school.

I was climbing the retail ladder when a year and a half after my graduation  I “fell in love”. As we were about to get married,  10 months later,  I was asked if I would please not take the new job offer I had just accepted and commit full time to the marriage. In the flurry of all the activities, without taking the time to think things through, I agreed. You see I had been caring for children since I was 10 yeas old and I had planned to take a few years to discover me, but instead I did what I thought was expected of a good Christian wife.

After almost a year of sharing with one another on a daily basis I had honestly believed we were in unity of heart, but on the wedding night I knew something wasn’t right. Our first day home, we were only gone for the weekend, he laid the law down and the abuse started.

Then began a journey that has taught me the healing power of prayer!

The healing power of prayer that has kept me through all the storms that ensued in my life, as God  (Father, Holy Spirit and Jesus)  have always remained with me – loving me, teaching me, healing me, leading me out of the maze of darkness into the Light of Life, the Light of Love.

It is this journey I will share with you as I share the truths of God’s Love!!!

For the Power in the Healing Power of Prayer is Love!!!

“…the Greatest of these is Love.”   1 Corinthians 13:13

…”I have Loved you with an Everlasting Love…”  Jeremiah 31:3
